Reducing bureaucracy is therefore not simply a matter of convenience. It can also improve productivity.
Investment in technology is becoming increasingly important
Slovenian businesses also need to invest in automation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and other technologies if they want to improve long-term productivity.
However, such investments should deliver measurable business results.
Technology creates value when it helps a company reduce costs, accelerate processes, increase sales or generate greater added value.
Competitiveness also starts within the company
An individual business cannot control the entire regulatory environment.
It can, however, control its own cost structure, productivity, pricing, margins, financing and organisation.
Management should therefore monitor business efficiency alongside revenue growth.
