Digital Platforms Must Report Sellers’ Income

Under the EU directive DAC7, digital platforms are required to report income earned by users through their platforms.

This applies to platforms where individuals or companies:

  • sell goods,

  • provide services,

  • rent out property,

  • rent vehicles or equipment.

The reported data is shared automatically between EU member states, increasing transparency of online income.

In Slovenia, the data is collected and monitored by FURS.

➡️ Important: Income generated through digital platforms is now significantly more transparent to tax authorities.
